On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Vaak Foundation had the honor of participating in The Green Table, a unique and inspiring networking dinner that brought together doctors, eco-founders, sustainability leaders, and green entrepreneurs — all committed to building a healthier, more conscious planet.

Organized by The DoctressOfficial, a visionary platform led by Dr. Keerti, the event served as a beautiful reminder that healing doesn’t just happen in hospitals — it happens when communities, ecosystems, and industries thrive together in harmony.🌱 Vaak’s Commitment to Regenerative Bharat

Collaboration with Dementia India Alliance
( 2 / 2 /2025 )

🙌 #Vaak Foundation x Dementia India Alliance (#DIA): A Step Towards Transforming Elder Care in India 🤝

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Dementia India Alliance (DIA), a sister organization of the Nightingales Medical Trust, dedicated to enhancing elder care in India. Founded in Bangalore, DIA has been instrumental in addressing the growing need for specialized dementia care under the visionary leadership of Dr. Radha Murthy.

🎊 Through the Hitāyu initiative, we are excited to join forces with DIA to amplify training programs and resources that cater to both formal and informal caregivers. Our goal is to empower those who care for individuals with dementia, ensuring they have access to the knowledge and support they need to deliver compassionate and effective care.

This collaboration is more than just a partnership; it’s a shared vision to ensure that every elder receives the dignity, support, and care they deserve.

☘ A special Thank you note to Dr. Dharshitha Varigonda , Advisory Board Member, Vaak Foundation, whose dedication made this happen. 👏

New Year, New Hopes
Celebrating with Home for the Disabled ( 5/1/2025 )

As the world welcomed a new year filled with hope and renewal, Vaak Foundation chose to begin 2025 with hearts wide open and hands joined in service. In a heartfelt collaboration with Home for the Disabled, Secunderabad, we celebrated New Year’s Day not with grand gestures, but with genuine connection, joy, and shared humanity.

This special event was our way of honoring those often overlooked—reminding ourselves and others that compassion is the most beautiful way to begin any year.

At Vaak Foundation, we believe that inclusion is not an act of charity—it’s a celebration of shared existence. Partnering with institutions like Home for the Disabled helps:

  • Reaffirm human dignity through respect and engagement
  • Break societal barriers between the “abled” and “differently-abled”
  • Create spaces for emotional healing, laughter, and meaningful bonds
  • Encourage volunteerism rooted in empathy and lived experience

Health is a Right, Not a Privilege
15 / 08 / 2024

Under our Hitayu Health Initiative, Vaak Foundation is conducting regular medical camps in remote thandas—tribal settlements where access to basic healthcare is often limited or nonexistent.

These camps are designed to bridge the healthcare gap for marginalized and indigenous communities, ensuring early detection, timely treatment, and sustained wellness for all.

🩺 What We Do in Each Camp:

  • Basic health check-ups (BP, sugar, vitals, nutrition screening)
  • Maternal & child health services
  • Awareness on hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health, and first aid
  • Referral support for chronic or serious cases
  • Free medicines and follow-up planning

🌿 Why It Matters:

Many families in remote thandas walk miles to reach the nearest medical facility—or go without care altogether. Through these camps, Hitayu brings compassionate, community-focused healthcare right to their doorstep.

🤝 Our Impact:

  • Multiple camps conducted across tribal belts in Telangana
  • Hundreds of beneficiaries including women, children, and the elderly
  • Partnerships with local health workers, ASHA teams, and PHCs
  • Creation of health records for continuous care and monitoring

Vaak Foundation remains committed to making sustainable rural healthcare a reality—where no geography limits access to healing.

At Vaak Foundation, we believe that change begins early—and every child has the potential to be a changemaker. That’s why we launched KidteerS, a unique “For Kids, By Kids” initiative designed to empower children to become active participants in building a better world.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), KidteerS encourages kids aged 3 to 13 years to create and share 60-second educational videos on topics that matter—from food and water conservation to gender equality and self-defense.

This exciting campaign runs until 30 June 2024, and the top 3 videos will be awarded, along with a certificate of community volunteering.

By engaging in topics such as:

  • Food & water wastage
  • Cleanliness of surroundings
  • Value of education / Road rules
  • Gender equality
  • Self-defense
